• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Come to support people who live with mental illness and their friends and families. Why? Because 1 in 4 people in the U.S. lives with mental illness. Our children are more stressed, anxious and depressed than ever and suicide is the second leading cause of death in young people age 15-34. Substance abuse is on the rise and often is used as self-treatment for an underlying (and often undiagnosed) mental illness. Proceeds from the event go to support organizations that support those affected by mental illness and that research causes, treatments and cures. Come join us and make a difference!

Event details and schedule

Registration is $25 until 6/9/17 and $30 on event day from 8Am to 9AM. The event is from 9-11AM. We will have a 5K trail run on the Byram Hill cross-country trail or you can walk on the track as far as you want. Come meet and run with marathon great/inspirational speaker/'Duel in the Sun' competitor Dick Beardsley and meet inspirational speaker Hakeem Rahim! Raffles and food, good company and representatives from several mental health organizations including NAMI Westchester, NAMI NYS, and Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
