The 33rd Annual Moonlight Chase is one of eastern Iowa's most unique road races.  The run is fast and flat beginning at 9:00 PM with the entire certified 4 mile course lined with luminaries.  The evening includes 1/4 (7:30 pm) and 1 mile (8:00 pm) runs for kids in addition to the 4 mile competition at 9:00 pm. 

After the race, stick around for refreshments and dancing under the stars.  Join us on July 8 and find out what makes the Moonlight Chase so special!

Event details and schedule

7:30 PM - 1/4 Mile Kid's Run (age 1-6) All participants receive a medallion

8:00 PM - 1 Mile Kid's Run (Age 7-14) Separate boys & girls awards in each age group.

9:00 PM - 4 Mile Run/Walk for all ages. Medals awarded to the first four places in each of the men’s and women’s age groups, as well as Clydesdale and Athena divisions.

Packet Pick Up:  Friday, July 7 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Saturday, July 8 from 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the basement of the U.S. Bank Building at 220 W. Davenport Street in Eldridge.  Race Day registrations for the 1/4 and 1 mile runs close 30 minutes prior to each race.  No registrations for the 4 mile run after 8:00 PM on race day.
