As part of the kick-off for the Hanover Tomato Festival, Papa John's is joining the fun and sponsoring the 4K Pizza Run and Relay. Afterwards, enjoy live musical entertainment, delicious food vendors serving up their favorite Hanover tomato dishes and check out some of the vendors featured at the Hanover Tomato Festival.
Pizza Run: This fun run is all about family, friends and pizza. The pizza run is an extremely short course, only 4 kilometers or 2.5 miles which any level can complete within an hour. Multiple "pizza stations" will be strategically placed at the start and along the race route where a delicious slice of Papa John's pizza will be waiting for you.
First place finishers in the male and female divisions that complete the 4K course and consume a slice of pizza at each stop will win Papa John's Pizza for a year!
Pizza Relay: New for 2017, this contest consists of four (4) team members. Each member must run or walk approximately 1/2 mile while carrying a pizza box and consume a slice of pizza at each assigned station. The first team to cross the finish line will win pizza for a year and each winning team member will win two free large pizzas.
