The Bucket of Blood Races is an annual event that takes place in conjunction with the Holbrook, AZ Wild West Days in July, a 2 Day event filled with fun, food, and entertainment. included in the price of the race is a swag bag, free breakfast OR lunch ticket, t-shirt and a beer ticket.

Event details and schedule

We ask that you please register online before the race so that we can guarantee you a Swag bag. There will be a booth set up at the Wild West Days Event where you can pick up your packet on July 15th or the morning of the races at the start, but you are not guaranteed a Swag Bag or shirt if you wait till then to register.

Stop by the Chamber of Commerce booth Friday night 4pm and 6pm to pick up your race packet. If this does not work, please contact us and we will make arrangements. Race line up and registration will take place behind the Old Courthouse 1 hour prior to your events published start time. Registration will be available that morning for last minute racers but PLEASE do not wait until then to register or pick up your swag bag. The race is mostly a TRAIL run so plan accordingly. You will begin at the Historic Old Courthouse run through the downtown Holbrook area up into the back hills for some nice desert trail runs. Cross over I-40 as you reach the upper section of town. Cross through some rancher country and finally finish off downtown crossing the legendary Route 66.

Half Marathon- 6:00 am

5K- 6:30 am

Running races are located at 100 E. Arizona in the north parking lot.
