Hellooooo, Cupcake! Following a wildly successful event last fall, Chocolate Cupcake, Lifestyle Brand for Girls is proud to present its 2017 3rd Annual Cupcake RUN! A community 5K Run/Walk Celebrating Girls, Friends and Families on October 21st at 8am in Atlanta's picturesque and historic Grant Park. 

We hope you'll grab a girl you love and come on out to support. We are so ecstatic to have so much interest for our growing race. Last year, we had over 600 participants, and are looking to top that number this year!  

Get signed up to receive email updates and details as we get closer to the event. You should basically prepare to meet new folks, have a great time getting fit with family and friends, and of course, celebrate your sweetness the entire time!

One tip: GET. REGISTERED. EARLY. Spaces go VERY quickly! If you have any friends wanting to attend, please have them get registered ASAP as we don't want them to miss out on a beautiful, fun morning of fitness at Chocolate Cupcake's Cupcake RUN! on Saturday, October 21st in Atlanta's historic Grant Park.

SPECIAL PRICING FOR KIDS!  Because our aim is for as many girls to participate as possible, we're happy to offer special reduced pricing for young runners. Participants ages 3-14 can be registered by an adult for only $10 (this special price activates on the check-out page of your registration. Make sure to enter proper birthdates to receive the appropriate discount). To the extent we are able, we want to make sure that cost is not a barrier to participation. We have also partnered with some of Atlanta's local schools to offer participation scholarships to a select number of students. Participating schools will be announced over the summer.

The Cupcake RUN! is a super-fun annual event enabling Chocolate Cupcake to connect directly with its audience in support of the development of healthy, happy girls. In addition to gathering girls together in the name of fun, fitness, family, friends and philanthropy, this event illuminates the impact of childhood obesity, for which African American girls and other girls of color are particularly at risk. The Cupcake RUN! is a celebratory event which aims to address barriers to obesity with a family and community approach to fitness that creates opportunities to exercise safely and consistently. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to support the work of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation here in Atlanta.
