This race supports a local Suwanee youth outreach center, Bridge 5:44, that is committed to changing lives, one student at a time. This organization, founded on three principles: Truth, Love, and Relationships, has been serving students for 13 years.
The course follows the scenic Ivy Creek Greenway trail leading back to a beautiful and large suspension bridge crossing over the creek. The front majority of the trail is flat running next to the the creek towards the mall, while the back minority of the course features a more hill struck terrain opening up to the suspension bridge. The idea behind this race is to not only support our organization, but to challenge runners to push themselves by crossing mental bridges between their physical ability vs. their percieved ability, while they run towards the physical bridge near the end of the course.
