Mission Statement:
The Frye Foundation is focused on helping individuals and families struggling with Diabetes. The primary focus is to bring awareness and visibility to all aspects of this disease. Some of those key areas of focus are; living a healthy lifestyle, exercising regularly, caring for our elderly with this disease, and teaching our youth to start living healthy NOW. This mission starts by creating a voice, which Coach Frye has done in his many years or hard work and commitment. It is his Voice & Mission that speaks throughout the communities in South Carolina and North Carolina. Not just the big cities, but the small cities, the rural areas that too often do not have access to the education or resources they need to help fight.
Coach Curtis Frye has a tremendous Story and The Mission of The Frye Foundation is one to be heard.
Fundraising & Work:
Every year The Frye Foundation hosts multiple events, such as: 5K Runs, Walks, Golf Tournaments, and Social Events. While the goal is awareness and Visibility these events are to raise money. The money generated by The Frye Foundation events are used to provide Scholarship and camps to children struggling with Diabetes. Funds are also used to provide education and resources to communities that cannot afford them. The key component to the work & fundraising efforts is that the focus is local. Efforts & Resources stay in our North & South Carolina Communities.
