The DOUGHMAN is the world's premiere quadrathlon, back for the 9th time...on Ninth Street!

This self-propelled culinary tour of Durham will guide your 4-person relay team through the tastes and sites of our incredible city as we raise DOUGH to support the work of the Durham Bike Co-op to help ALL DURM-ites have access to self-propelled transit (aka BIKES!!)

Combining the elements of a triathlon with competitive eating, each team member with down a delicious treat from a Durham culinary gem, followed with a bike, run or "water activity" challenge of varying distances. Fundraising brings you an advantage, as teams that raise dough get a jump start on the competition (see event website for more details on fundraising time bonuses)!  

As you gather your team together, place your eaters strategically! The race meals will be:  3-ish mile Run - Omnivorous; Bicycle - Vegetarian; 2-ish mile Run - Omnivorous; "Water Activity" - Vegan. There is no swapping meals, or modifying the menu, and there are no modifications for allergies, dietary restrictions or preferences. The actual menu will be published by May 5.

Awards will be given for awards for FUNDRAISING CHAMP, Spirit of Durham, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and Last place finishing teams.

WHEN YOU REGISTER, please have the following information ready: your team name, the names, email addresses, and t-shirt sizes of all 4 teammates, and the name and cell phone number of your designated Team Captain.

ALL RACERS must be at least 18 years old.
