Summer Sunset Cinema 5K...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Join us for an evening of family-friendly fun for the whole family! Run a fast 5K through scenic Etowah River Park, then break out your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a movie under the sky in the great outdoors. We'll be having popcorn and making fun family memories! It will be the final summer family outing before school starts! There are 3 races in the 2017 series (there will be 4 races in 2018 beginning with Spring):

Race start is at 8pm movie begins at Dusk

The course is mostly flat and fast. It's so pretty, it runs along said the Etowah River and into a beautiful greenway then circles out at the lovely Heritage park. It is an out and back course but you would never know it! 

There is lots of parking available onsite and right outside the park all is well within walking distance.

Everyone gets a free shirt and the movie and popcorn are included in the price! 

Don't forget your blankets, lawn chairs, movie snacks (we'll provide the popcorn)

Georgia weather changes when if feels like, dress accordingly. The race will be held rain or shine.

This is the last weekend of summer before school starts...make it a memorable one!

We have timing technology that will blow your mind! We not only have printable results (so you don't have to wait around to see if you placed) but when you go online to check your times you get your own personal page with all your data. THEN on your page is a video of you crossing the finish line...but not only that you get an awards certificate congratulating you on your achievement with your pace, rank, time etc. recorded too so that now you have that as a reminder to shoot for your next PR! But here is where it gets even better...ready? Ok, it will also be live stream! Why does this matter?? Because people who can't be there who you would love to be there can now watch you at home on YOUTUBE aaaand you have proof you were there and not telling a "Big Fish" story!! Yep! We wanted to capture this race so you can also remember what a fun time you had!
