Take a Bite of the Peach Fun Run...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

The TAKE a BITE OF THE PEACH RUN is an annual event presented by the Peach State Conference UYFL football and cheer, as a way to raise funds for the
organization and help defray cost to parents for much needed equipment and
uniforms. Everything done, is done for the kids and the community; this event will allow the opportunity to sponsor boys and girls, pay for travel, and help fund teams that represent the conference in tournaments and playoffs.  The coaches and volunteers serve as role models to the youth and helps develop the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork, and physical well-being by promoting the virtues of the 5 core values: Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Leadership. The 5K (3.1 Mile) and 1 Mile events are both run and walk friendly.  Just come on out and get moving!!!

Event details and schedule

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk: 8:30 A.M.

5K Run/Walk: 9:00 A.M

Packet Pickup: Wild Side Running (2341 Lake Park Dr. Albany, GA) Friday, July 21, 2017 from 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. or day of race from 7:30 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. 

Awards Ceremony Will Be Held at 10:00 AM in the RiverFront Park

Medals will be presented to the top three men/women in the 5K and the top three male/female in the following age divisions participating in the 1mile: 5-7, 8-9, 10-12.

T-Shirts
All registrants will receive a race T-shirt and Goody Bag. Accurate shirt size with race designation is guaranteed only to participants registered by July 7, 2017.

TAKE A BITE OF THE PEACH TIMING!

Each 5K participant will be professionally timed.  The 1-Mile race is not a timed event.
