Mauitime 20th Anniversary Celebration - Run Walk Costume Challenge takes place in Central Maui at Queen Kaahumanu Center. This race is festive family friendly event in costume to kick off your summer fitness and celebrate Mauitime turning 20 years old! It starts at Center Stage and exits the center around perimeter to the main parking structure and up. On each level of the parking structure you will find a fitness challenge set to music to keep you going. After, running down to ground level the course will continue around the back side of the Center heading up and down the second parking structure. Next the course heads across the front of the Center heading back into and down exit wing ending at Center Stage. Along the way you'll find one aid station and music throughout the course to motivate you to the finish line. Please be aware this event is a fundraiser for Paia Youth and Cultural Center and 100% of race fees go to them to benefit the great work they do for Maui's youth. Event details and schedule

Arrive at 7:30 am to register for the 8:00 am start time at Center Stage. Park on Kaahumanu Ave side of QKC on the Koho's Macy's side of parkinglot. Make sure you can run in your costume, so think Hula Skirt, Tutus, Head attire, body paint. Stick around after race to pickup your goodie bag and race jersey and to win prizes for best costume and prizes for being in attendance as well. Winner of best costume will win a Stay-Cation for four at Westin Maui at Kaanapali Beach. Other prizes include movie passes for Maui Film Festival at Wailea and a Custom Long Skateboard from Shaper's.
