5th Annual Flutopia 5K...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Back by popular demand: The most musical 5k around!! Musicians perform for participants along the route, set in beautiful Tom Tudek Memorial Park. Join the happy Flutopia 5k  racers, joggers and walkers making their way through the butterfly garden, over the scenic hills, past the dog park and community garden, all serenaded by great area musicians that have included world drums, trombone duos, solo flutists, a brass quintet, a flute choir, vocal duos, a fiddler, alternative voice and guitar duo, and a jazz combo. Plus there are Musical Prizes! and The Flutastic Fun Run, a 50 yard dash for kids under 10.

Your registration guarantees a t-shirt with the beautiful Flutopia logo if you are registered by 12:00 noon on July 18. A small number of additional t-shirts will be available the day of the race.

This race benefits Centre Volunteers in Medicine and Doctors Without Borders.

Event details and schedule

Race packet pick-up for pre-registered participants: Friday, July 28 from 6:30-7:30 at the Tudek Park parking lot near the main pavilion.

Race day registration: 7:30-8:00 Tudek Park pavilion next to the tennis courts

Race start time: 8:30am Saturday, July 29. Starting point: Kiosk next to the tennis courts.

In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, and intending to be legally bound, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, my executors and administrators, do waive, release and discharge all rights and claims which I may have or may hereafter accrue to me, against either The Flutopia Initiative, Public Health Matters International, the Race Director and volunteers, Center Parks and Recreation Commission, Ferguson Township, their officers, agents and employees of , and all named and unnamed spoonsors, volunteers of and from all causes, liabilities, damages (both compensatory and punitive), claims, or demands whatsoever, either in law or equity, on account of any injury or accident loss or damages of every kind and nature suffered by me (or said minor) while traveling to and from the race event, participating in the race event, or using any and all facilities at the race.  I understand that any race can pose a significant risk to my health and life and is porentially dangerous and I hereby attest and affirm that I am sufficiently conditioned to for the race.
