Moff's Memorial 5K Fun Run...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

This event is in honor of my grandfather who passed away on December 2, 2016 from prostate cancer. He was a very talented runner in his days and I hope to keep his legacy alive. This race is a fun family friendly event where all types of cancer will be honored. There will be cancer ribbons for participants to wear to honor family and friends they know who have gone through cancer. We will also be honoring the Kittrell family as the husband and father, Kevin Kittrell, goes through stomach cancer. There will be race shirts as well as food for after the race. Friends and family are welcome to share stories and memories of loved ones and enjoy a warm afternoon at Mount Trashmore.

Event details and schedule

Moff's Memorial 5K Fun Run will be on July 29, 2017. It will begin at 9am at Mount Trashmore. We have booked a shelter. The 5K course will run around the lake and Encore Hill. There we will meet and mingle until the race begins around 9:45. There will be day of registration starting at 9:00 so please bring any family or friends who miss out with online registration! Packet-pickup has not been scheduled yet so an email will be sent out regarding that closer to the date of the race. It is going to be a warm summer day so I recommend sunscreen and cool clothing. Plenty of water will be provided. We have the shelter for the day so feel free to hang around after the race and enjoy the afternoon!
