The 2017 Capital City 5k Run & Walk brings together over 2,000 recipients, donors and families with healthcare professionals and the community to honor the “gift of life”.
Raise awareness and show your personal support of organ, tissue, and eye donation in Madison this summer. The 5K course is USATF certified and managed by Next Level Sports and In Focus Timing. The 5K run/walk begins on the Capitol Square, winds along a Lake Monona path, and ends at Goodman Park. Medals for 1st - 3rd place are awarded in eight age categories. Children 11 and younger can join in the fun by signing up for the Cap City Kids Club! All runners, walkers and their fans celebrate at the post-event pool party.
New in 2017- A 1-Mile walk for all ages!
Registration fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
