Come test yourself at the 1st annual Hot Iron Half Marathon and 5k Trail races at Tymor Park in Union Vale, New York.
Set in the largest town park in New York, the race covers a mix of technical single track, smooth double-track, and wide-open grassy fields. You’ll wind through tall pine forests, around pristine Furnace Pond, past iron furnace ruins, and up hills with spectacular views of the surrounding hills and fields.
The course poses a fun challenge to experienced trail runners but is gently enough to welcome new trail runners into the mix.
After completing the race, enjoy awesome post-race food prepared by CSA-trained chef, Brian Kaywork, local craft beer, and soak up the crisp fall air and fall foliage.
Race entry includes: a well marked course with aid stations, race t-shirt, finisher’s prize, and post-race food and beer. Plus an awesome race through the beautiful trails in Tymor Park.
