Join UR Medicine’s Wilmot Cancer Institute in celebrating all cancer survivors, remembering those we’ve lost and supporting local cancer research. The fifth annual Wilmot Warrior Walk features a certified 5K, certified 10K and a 1-mile walk as well as a post-race celebration. Funds support Wilmot’s Judy DiMarzo Cancer Survivorship Program and cancer research at Wilmot. The Wilmot Warrior Walk features a certified 5K, certified 10K and a 1-mile walk. All routes begin at the Highland Park Bowl. The 5K route takes walkers and runners along the Genesee River and through the University of Rochester campus. The turn-around for the 5K is on the campus. The 5K begins at 9:30 a.m. and 5K awards will be given at the start/finish line at 10:20 a.m. 

The 10K route takes walkers and runners along both sides of the Genesee River and through the University of Rochester campus. Participants will also enjoy views of downtown Rochester. The 10K begins at 8 a.m. and 10K awards will be given at the start/finish line at 9:10 a.m.
