4th Annual Bringing Out the Best in Kids 5K ~ Results

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Come join us for the 4th Annual “Bringing Out the Best in Kids 5K”. The race will be run entirely inside e Oconee Veterans Park.  The race benefits the work of the Athens Luncheon Optimist Club and its youth oriented community service projects. Many other local charities that help area youth, like ESP, Wee Read, and Books for Keeps, are also supported by the Luncheon Optimists. Help us provide hope and a positive vision to our youth as we “Bring out the best in kids”.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7AM

5K: Starts at 8AM

Awards: Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and Top 3 Male/Female in age groups 10 and under through 75 and over in 5 year increments.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 7/4/17.  Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series and the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
