Sidewalk Shuffle

WALKERS, SHUFFLERS, & RUNNERS WELCOME! Join the Duluth YMCA and the Greater Downtown Council on July 12th to kick off the Downtown Sidewalk Sale Days with the 10th annual Sidewalk Shuffle 5K walk and run to raise money for scholarships!

HOW TO REGISTER: Registrations are now processed online through http://www.tempotickets.com/sidewalkshuffle  up until midnight of Monday July 10th, 2017. Shufflers may also pick up a paper registration from the Member Service Desk to fill out.
Paper registrations will also be available to fill out Tuesday July 11 and Wednesday July 12 at the Downtown Y up until 10:00am race day. Please have payment ready when submitting paper applications.

REGISTRATION DATES:

Early Bird-March 15th-April 30th: Individuals $25.00 | Teams $100.00
General-May 1st-June 30th: Individuals $30.00 | Teams $110.00
Last-Minute-July 1st-12th: Individuals $35.00 | Teams $120.00
*Shirt size availability will be limited for Last Minute registration

START TIME: 12:10pm

COURSE:  The course will start and end at the Endion Station located next to Canal Park Lodge and will following along the Lakewalk. The Shuffle is an out and back course heading north towards Lief Erickson Park. Turn around point is past Lief Erickson and almost to the water treatment station. Once turned around, Shufflers are to head back to the finish line at the Endion Station.**

**WALKERS, SHUFFLERS, RUNNERS: We want the Shuffle to be an enjoyable experience for everyone, so please place yourselves appropriately at the starting line based on whether you will be walking, shuffling, or running the course. Runners, please place yourselves closer to the front. If you are planning to walk or shuffle the course, please place yourself closer to the mid or back of the starting line.

AGES: 6 and older—family friendly!

CHILD CARE: Child Care will be available at the Y while you race. Child care is included in your entry fee. Ages for Kids Club are 4 months-9 years of age.

SHOWERS: Free showers will be available at the Y after the race.

AWARDS AND RACE RESULTS: Award Ceremony will be held at the finish immediately following the race. Results will be posted on the Duluth Y website, www.duluthymca.org/sidewalk-shuffle, www.northlandrunner.com, and www.duluthrunningcompany.com.

AWARD CATEGORIES:  1st Place Youth (6-12) Male & Female, 1-3rd place Teen (13-17) Male & Female, 1-3rd place Adult (18+) Male & Female, 1st place Teams Male & Female, Co-Ed Team

PARKING: Please allow yourself time to park and to get to the start line before the race start. The Y strongly suggests that you park at one of the nearby ramps and that you walk to the start line. Shufflers will receive free parking validation with proof of running bib for the Holiday Inn Ramp, Shoppers Auto Ramp, and the 4th Ave W. and Superior Street Ramp.

PACKET PICK-UP: Tuesday July 11th from 12-5pm at the Downtown Branch located at 302 W. 1st Street Duluth, MN
