 - Peace Love Run is at Bonelli Park on November 5, 2017! Nothing but peace and love at this scene! Go-go girls, hippie chicks, Woodstock dudes, Sonny and Cher will be there! What will you wear? The course is immerses the runner in a beautiful setting, featuring panoramic views of Puddingstone Reservoir, mountains and lush greenery. Events are Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay, 10K, 5K and Kid's Dash. The Half Marathon, Half Marathon Relay and 10k are a combination road race and adventure run with varied terrain and even a narrow bridge over a low creek, a favorite of past athletes. The grassy knolls of the West Picnic Valley are the place to be after the race for refreshments, and tunes from '67. Groovy 60's MG medal for all finishers, technical shirts for the Half Marathon runners and cotton t's for the 5K and 10K athletes. Over 200 additional medals for Age Group winners in 1, 2, 3 place for Half Marathon, 10K and 5K races - that's a lot of extra bling to win! Because runners like to do good deeds, we are collecting canned goods and gently used clothing for the San Gabriel Valley Coalition for the homeless.
