Mardi Gras - San Diego...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles
• Half Marathon:- Run 13.1 Miles
• 10K Run:- Run 6.2 Miles

 - Celebrate the Mardi Gras season and join us as we run and walk  on February 18 along beautiful Mission Bay and Fiesta Island. The paved course is flat and fast with panoramic views of grassy knolls, palm trees, and the blue bay.  Events include Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Kid's Dash (approximately 400 meters.)  All finishers receive custom medal unique to the event. Half Marathon athletes receive technical shirt and 5K and 10K snag a cotton training T.  The finish line festival has a party atmosphere with New Orlean's jazz music, vendors, refreshments and the joy of a thousand athletes many festooned in Mardi Gras beads, hats and gear.  Over 200 additional medals up for grabs with lots of Age Group Division medals for  1, 2, 3 place in the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K events.   Because runners like to do good deeds, we collect gently used clothes and canned goods for the needy. A portion of the race proceeds benefit Patrick Henry High School after school programs.
