_ 2017 Run for Help! 5K:
- This is a 5K to benefit SureCord Christian Counseling. It is an out and back run/walk on the Yadkin River Greenway. The run/walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. Packet pickup and start line will be at the picnic shelter located behind the Wilkes Family YMCA. You must pre-register by August 1, 2017 in order to receive an event t-shirt.

Thank you for you participation in SureCord’s “Run for Help!”5k. This fund raiser, along with the donations of local churches, businesses & individuals, helps make counseling affordable. SureCord Christian Counseling provides local, professional counseling at the Brushy Mountain Baptist Association on Saturdays. We serve children, teens, couples and families facing a variety emotional problems and addictions.

The run/walk is an out and back on the Yadkin River Greenway behind the Wilkes Family YMCA. The course is flat and follows the Yadkin River.
From Highway 421 South take exit 286B. Turn right and travel 1.5 miles. Turn right onto YMCA Blvd. Follow road 1/4 mile to the picnic shelter at the Yadkin River Greenway.
From 421 North take exit 286B. Turn left and travel 1.5 miles. Turn right onto YMCA Blvd. Follow road 1/4 mile to the picnic shelter at the Yadkin River Greenway.
