Annual 5k run for Gunnar the Trisomy 18 WARRIOR...

• 5K Trail Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

This race is a 5K trail run to raise money to help with equipment, hospital stays, doctors appts, medication etc... Gunnar is 18mths old and has been through multiple surgeries, many hospital stays, and takes multiple medications. He is a fighter, the doctors told us he wouldn't live to be born and if he did he wouldn't live a couple months.  Well here we are 18 months later and he is still fighting.. Gunnar cannot walk, talk , nor sit up yet... we are making progress in those areas. He has a Gtube that he is fed by, and just got his first wheelchair. He requires multiple therapies throughout the week... to help him progress forward... all the proceeds of this race will go towards anything he may need such as medications, equipment, doctors appointments, and therapies. Thanks to everyone for showing up. We are excited to do this again this year and hope its bigger and better than ever. Each participant will receive a custom Team Gunnar t-shirt and overall and age group awards(medals or trophies tbd). See you there at beautiful Pine Mountain State Park 6pm Saturday September 9, 2017. Race bibs provided, NO chip timing and bring a bottle as no cups will be provided due to being in a state park. Race day registration available but Tshirt will be first come first serve..
