_ 2017 Harwich 5K Road Race:
This race continues to host over 500 participants with many new runners and walkers and many from our own town of Harwich. We have wonderful committed sponsors. We even had businesses sponsoring water stations and supermarkets donating water and fruit for the finish line.

Course Info
Start In front of Georges Pizza 564 Main St., Harwichport.
• Take Main St. (rt.28) to South Street and take a right onto South.
• Follow South to Sisson Road and take a right onto Sisson.
• Follow Sisson to Forest Road and take a right onto Forest.
• Forest will merge with South Street and then turns into South Street.
• Take South Street 10 yards and then take a hard left onto Miles Street.
• Follow Miles until Cross Street and take a right onto Cross.
• Take Cross until Pleasant Street and take a right onto Pleasant
• Go 100 yards and take a left into the back entrance of the Municipal parking lot where the race will finish.
• Take Main St. (rt.28) to South Street and take a right onto South.
• Follow South to Sisson Road and take a right onto Sisson.
• Follow Sisson to Forest Road and take a right onto Forest.
• Forest will merge with South Street and then turns into South Street.

Directions to the Harwich Chamber of Commerce Parking Area (where the Race Begins)
From the Sagamore Bridge/Bourne Bridge: Take Route 6 East to Exit 9A ( Route 134 Dennisport/W Harwich) (stay on about 30 minutes). At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto RT 134S. Get into left lane, and you will pass several shopping centers (about 4 traffic lights) and make LEFT turn at traffic light onto Upper County Road. Take Upper County Road until the end (Ocean State Job Lot on left) and at traffic light make a left onto RT 28. Take Rt 28 into Harwich Port Village.
