- The 2017 Annual Atlanta Lab Rescue 5K Run is our largest fundraiser for Atlanta Lab Rescue. ALR's mission is to rescue Labrador Retrievers and Lab Mixes from overwhelmed shelters and abusive situations and place them in secure, loving homes. We average 40-50 dogs in the program at any given time and in our first 7 years, we have rescued over 3000 dogs. Our website is www.atlantalabrescue.com.
