9th Annual Parkside Great Pumpkin Run...

• 5K Race & Fun Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Parkside School will be hosting our ninth annual race – The Great Pumpkin Run – on October 28, 2017, at 9 a.m. This will be a fun 5K run through Baileyton, beginning at the school and ending at the park. All ages and experience groups are invited. Child care will be provided at no cost for parents who wish to participate in the 5K. Don’t like to run? Walkers are welcome! Want to sleep in? You can buy a T-shirt and we’ll hold it for you at the school. Every participant will receive packets of color powder. Extra color powder will be available to purchase on race day. Runners who do not want to participate in the "color" part of the run will be able to avoid the color stations.

The male and female winners (overall and masters) will receive medals and prizes, and the top three runners in each age group (under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) will receive medals. Every runner will get a goody bag! We are upgrading our timing system this year, and results will be posted online.

Everyone registered on or before October 14 is guaranteed to receive a race T-shirt. Extra shirts will be distributed to runners who register on race day on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre-registration for the 5K is $20, and race day registration is $25. You can register as a team of four for $17 per person. Cullman County Schools students and employees are eligible for a discount.
