Race Information

The seventh and final race in the Vail Recreation District's (VRD) La Sportiva Vail Mountain Trail Running Series, the MeadowGold 10K and 5K is presented by Haute Route Gear & Apparel. This new and exciting route for 2017 will take place on Meadow Mountain in Minturn, Colorado. Runners will ascend technical singletrack on the beautiful West Grouse Trail. At the high point and nearly half-way through the 10k race runners will begin the descent to the finish on double track with open views of Vail Mountain and the Gore Range. Along the way, participants will encounter 2aid stations hosted by special guests to the series..Alpacas. Feel free to thank these gentle creatures for their hard labor. Series awards ceremony will follow the finish of the MeadowGold

Costs:

Ages: 13 and older

La Sportiva Series Costs:

Half Marathon; $45 pre-registration, $50 week-of registration, $60 day-of registration.

Summer Solstice; $38 pre-registration, $43 week- of and $50 day-of, proceeds benefiting the Vail Valley Charitable Fund. Fee includes lunch and entertainment for all racers.

All other series races; $33 pre-registration, $38 week-of registration, $45 day-of registration. 

$200 for the series by May 1, 2017, $215 after May 1, 2017.  

Student Rates (K-12): $23 pre-registration, $28 week-of registration, $35 day of registration.  $145 for the series by May 1, 2017, $160 after May 1, 2017. 

New for 2017, "5k 5-Pack"! Race in all 5k races to compete for Season Awards in the 5k category.

5k Costs: $23 pre-registration, $28 week-of registration, $35 day-of registration.

$95 for the series by June 24, 2017.

Day-of registration will open 90 minutes prior to the start of all races. Pre-registered racers can also pick up their race bibs at the race start at this time.
