The Girl Scouts of West Central Florida's Fifth Annual Thin Mint Sprint 5K and Tagalong Trot 1-Mile will be held on Saturday, September 16 in Safety Harbor! All runners, first-time racers, Girl Scouts, families and friends are welcome to join in the fun! This event benefits nearly 20,000 Girl Scouts in west central Florida. All race day participants will receive a t-shirt, goodie bag and finisher medals for both the 5K and 1-Mile. All virtual runners will receive a t-shirt and bib. All registered Girl Scouts K-12 will receive a free patch. The top three 5K males and females in each standard age group will be awarded their favorite box of cookies. Additional awards will be given to the overall male and female in both the 5K and 1 mile. Join us at the conclusion of both races for the Awards Ceremony and Post-Party Celebration, including unlimited Girl Scout cookies!
This is a rain or shine event and entry fees are non-refundable.
Thin Mint Sprint 5K: 8 a.m. (no strollers)
Samoa Challenge: 8 a.m. (no strollers during 5K portion)
Tagalong Trot 1-mile: 9:15 a.m. (strollers welcome)
Packet Pickup: Held the morning of race day and at the locations below.

Arrival Time: For the Thin Mint Sprint or Samoa Challenge, we encourage those who have picked up their packets in advance to arrive no later than 7:15 a.m. For those participating in the Tagalong Trot, please arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. This will allow ample time to park and proceed to the starting line.
Parking: Parking on any side street near downtown Safety Harbor will be permitted. Parking lots are also located at Safety Harbor Spa, Safety Harbor Public Library, and Safety Harbor City Park. Please be mindful of early morning road closures along the course and allow enough time to park and proceed to the starting line.
