The Toy Box Trot, a 1-mile fun run is part of the 26th annual Marietta StreetFest held September 16 & 17, 2017 on the Marietta Square. The Saturday morning race on Saturday, September 16th, beginning at 8am is open to all ages both young and old and at the completion of the race, each race participate will select a toy of their choice. These toys will continue to encourage active play and serve as a fun memory of the race. Informational booths with activity stations will be set up in the race staging area.
The Marietta StreetFest is a family friendly festival with plenty of free activities such as a bounce house, giant slide, the sports corner, interactive games, arts and crafts booths, car show and the Grassroots Music Festival. The festival draws an estimated 15,000 people to the square annually and is a fundraiser for the Marietta Museum of History. Admission to the museum is free during the festival.

Registration is available via www.active.com. Online registration will close at 8pm EST on Friday, September 16, 2017. Day of registration is available via cash or check only. *Toys are not guaranteed for participants who sign up after the price increase, August 31st.

Toys:
Toy choices are split by age ranges (age 3-5, age 6-9, ages 10+) and are only available to those who register. Toy choices vary. Participants may choose to donate their toy - local chairty will be chosen.
Who: Anyone can participate! Is your little one interested in running, want to run off some energy or you yourself are wanting to start back easy? We would love to have you join us. Children and adults of all ages are encouraged to participate in this fun, non-timed race promoting an outdoor active, healthy lifestyle with a fun prize for completion at the end. Don’t care about the toy? We will donate it to a local charity.

Start/Finish: Corner of East Park Square and Roswell Road. This 1-mile course runs through beautiful Marietta Square and surrounding neighborhoods with minimal grade hills. This course is coned and guided by Marietta Police Department.
Timing and Results: This race is non-competitive and not timed. Awards will be given to 1st place winners in selected age groups.
