3rd Annual Run For Love: 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

The Run For Love: 5k Run & 1 Mile Walk is run on a certified course with beautiful scenery.  The run will take place mainly on the paved golf cart paths that will take you through the woods, the green belt areas, by lakes, through small tunnels, across bridges and on the scenic routes through the planned community of Peachtree City.  The course was voted the Best Course by the Georgia Athlete Magazine. 

The Run For Love is a fundraiser for Love's Foundation.  Love's Foundation is a non profit 501(c)3 that was founded in the wake of the premature birth of my daughter, Love Speed.  She was born on March 23, 2014 at 21 weeks. She lived for a little over an hour but was to underdeveloped to continue life. The mission of Love's Foundation is to provide financial assistance to bereaved parents with making final arrangements for their beloved baby that has passed away due to premature birth, complications of pregnancy, stillbirth, or complications at birth. T-shirts

Race day Run For Love T-shirts will ONLY be available to participants who registered before August 4.  There will NOT be T-shirts available for those who register after August 4.

* 5:00-7:00 P.M. - Packet Pick-up (under the Pavilion at McIntosh Trail Complex)

Saturday, August 26, 2017

* 7:00 A.M. - Race day packet pickup & on site registration begins

* 8:00 A.M. - Packet pickup & registration ends  

* 8:30 A.M. - Run For Love 5k runners start

* 8:30 A.M. - Run For Love 1 mile walkers start

* 9:30 A.M. - Awards ceremony

Age groups and awards

Children ages 6 - 11 will earn a ribbon

Medals to top 3 M/F in the following age groups: 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over  

Directions

From Atlanta – take I-85 south to exit 61, Peachtree City. Turn left onto Hwy 74 and drive approximately 11 miles and make a left on Kelly Drive. The park will be on the right approximately 1/4 mile down.

Parking

All Run For Love participants are to park in the McIntosh Trail Complex parking lot.

ALL runners & walkers MUST sign a participant waiver.  All participants under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by an adult.
