Finley 5k Run/Walk for SIDS Awareness...

The 5th Annual Finley 5k Run/Walk for SIDS Awareness is the largest race in Georgetown, Ky.  The proceeds for this event go to the Finley Foundation 501(c)3, which donates to national research facilities that are looking for the answer into SIDS deaths.  In the last four years, the foundation had donated approximately $100,000. 

Please join us this year for a fun night for all ages and experience a sense of love and community that have surrounded around the Ellison family in light of their personal tragedy.  People from surrounding counties and states have participated in our prior races and express every year what a great night it is!  Lets join together and celebrate the life of Finley and raise money to save more infants and families from this tragic event.

Important information:

PRE-REGISTRATION CUT-OFF:  AUGUST 9th is the last day to register before the price increase and to be guarenteed a race shirt.  After that, you can still register and an increased price and race shirts will be limited on first come first serve basis

TEAM REGISTRATION: you can only register for a team until Aug. 9th, after that you cannot join a team.

DONATION ONLY:  if you cannot participate in the race but want to contribute, you can register under donation category.  You will recieve a race shirt if registered by Aug. 9th.

PACKET PICKUP:  Aug. 19th is packet pickup.  Time and date to be determined at a later date and that will be communicated to you.

COURSE:  the course will be the same as the last two years.  Starts and ends on Memorial Drive and includes Main Street.  More details on the course will be released closer to race time.

PETS and STOLLERS:  We love our pets and love our babies.  Please be considerate of the other participants and stay on the right side of the course so people can easily pass you without injury.

RACE TIME:  Race starts promply at 6:00 pm.  Please be prepared to come early to enjoy the festivities before the race.  Announcements begin at 5:30
