The Perryville Police Department’s Juvenile Outreach Program was developed in 2006 as an innovative and comprehensive program to serve local youth ages 8-18. The Outreach Program is the first of its kind in Cecil County and provides an opportunity for low-income youth in our community to foster relationships with police officers and provide recreational sports and enrichment programs free of charge to the youth in our community. The Perryville Police Department Juvenile Outreach Program receives referrals from the Perryville Police Department for youth that would benefit by engaging in community service and life skills classes instead of being sent into the Juvenile Justice System.
All proceeds from the 5k will benefit the Outreach Program.
T-shirts are available for the first 100 registrants.
The event will be held rain or shine.
The Reach Out for Outreach 5k will be run on a USATF certified course in Perryville, MD
