Description

Kendyn Neal Blaser was a very happy and healthy 3 month old baby boy. On January 3, 2016, Kendyn’s family experienced every parent’s worst fear; they lost Kendyn to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

On September 23, 2017 Kendyn’s family is hosting the 2nd annual 5k run/walk to support SIDS/SUID research in Kendyn’s memory.
This event will begin at 9am and will be held at Pamperin Park part of the Brown County Park System.

100% of the proceeds of the day’s event will be donated to CJFirstCandle (www.cjfirstcandle.org).  For more than two decades, First Candle and CJ Foundation for SIDS have focused on a shared intent – reducing the rates of SIDS, SUID and Stillbirth and supporting those who have experienced a loss.   We have worked with researchers, supported local organizations, and developed programs and initiatives to educate as many people as possible about safe sleep and healthy pregnancies.

Kendyn’s parents have been personally touched by the CJ’s affiliated support organization called: Angel Eyes (http://angeleyes.org/) located in their current home state of Colorado.
