Jessica Meredith Jacobsen died tragically Sept. 14, 2007. Jessica, a graduate of Villanova University, was a group manager in the marketing and investment services department with T. Rowe Price where she managed a staff of 100 employees. Jessica was an avid runner and she enjoyed watching her sons play soccer, basketball and tennis. Jessica volunteered with her neighborhood association and with Immaculate Conception School.

In the words of Past Grand Knight Glenn Thuman: "Through the example set by Jessica, we come together, as individuals, to make a difference in ourselves, our families and our community."

Let us honor Jessica's memory by coming together to support critical community services and organizations, continuing her legacy of selfless giving to others. Jessica strongly supported Catholic education and the moral values being instilled in her children at Immaculate Conception School. This race will help keep her memory alive and will benefit the community activities which Jessica supported during her life.

In Jessica Meredith Jacobsen’s memory, the Knights Of Columbus Council No. 4011 (Father O’Neil Council) organized the ninth annual Jessica Meredith Jacobsen 5K Memorial Run Sept. 23rd. In addition to memorializing Jessica, an avid runner whose spirit and charitable works inspire us, the 5K supports the House of Ruth, Fr. O’Neil Charities and the ICS Tuition Assistance Fund.
