• 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Come out and enjoy the 9th ANNUAL OWL FLIGHT 5K RUN/WALK in Athens, GA.  Put on by the Clarke County Middle School, it is a fundraiser for Clarke County Middle School.  The course starts at the school and is run on paved streets through neighborhoods close to the school.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Starts at 7:30AM

5K: Starts at 8:30AM

Awards: Awards will be given to Overall Male and Female winners and 3 deep in age groups from 10 and Under to 75 and over.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services and results will be posted to  www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Shirts and Goodies: T-Shirts are guaranteed to all participants registered by 9/11/17 and while supplies last on race day. There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2017 Black Bag Race Series.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
