5th Annual Run FORE Cancer 5K/8K...

Join us for the 5th Annual Run FORE Cancer, benefiting St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and Barrow Neurological Institute.  This run/walk follows the cart path at Scottsdale Silverado Golf Course starting at the clubhouse. All participants will receive:

     * Custom Dri-Fit Tech T-Shirt

     * Custom Finisher's Medal

     * Pre- and post-race runner food.

Multiple water/med stations will be available on the course.

Placement awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age category (we use five year age groupings).  Race day participants only.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated in memory of Kathy Maxwell, who lost her battle with cancer on December 14, 2012.  During her three year battle Kathy relied on the support and care that the staff at St. Josephs provided.  The hospital was committed to improving Kathy's life by providing excellent care and this run recognizes their hard work and dedication to improving the lives of all cancer patients.

Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate?  This year will feature a Run FORE Cancer Virtual Race.  A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race.  You can run your race at your pace wherever you like.  All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt within 30 days after the race. 

This event will be chip timed by StartLine Racing.
