Rooster Run 5K...

• 5K Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Rooster Run is a 5K run/walk through historic Springfield downtown with a 1 mile "Fryers Fun Run" for all ages.  Race participants are encouraged to wear Rooster look-alike race attire with a Prize for most creative Rooster look-alike costume.  Robbie the Rooster, official mascot for Taste of Country, will be there to judge costumes. This race will kick off Taste Of Country that opens its gates on Downtown Square at 10:00am where you can head over post race to enjoy crafts, vendors, music, food, tailgate zone, beer garden, banana pudding contest, kids zone, and much more!

All proceeds will benefit CASA of Robertson County.  Our goal is to provide a safe permanent, loving, nurturing home to all abused and neglected children in Robertson County.  The proceeds raised will go to train and equip volunteer advocates appointed by Juvenile Court Judge to be a voice for child abuse and neglect victims.

Race Day Registration 8:00 - 8:45am**, 5K Race at 9:00am, Fun Run at 9:15am.  Awards to immediate follow.

5K run/walk: Prize will be given to Top Overall Male & Female Runner & Walker / Medals will be awarded to Top 3 Walkers & Runners for each age group (14 & under, 15 - 19, 20 - 30, 31 - 44, 45 - 55, & 56 & over) / All Fun Run participants will receive a medal

Rooster Look-Alike Contest: Prize will be awarded!
