​The 5th Annual Nicholas Pedone 5K:

Our 5th Annual Nicholas Pedone 5k Run is being held on Sunday, Sept 10th, 2017 in the beautiful city of Glen Cove, NY. ​The event begins in front of the Glen Cove High School and proceeds throughout the roads of the beautiful Gold Coast of Glen Cove.  We are so excited to be celebrating this milestone this year! This charity event benefits the Nicholas Pedone Foundation's mission of “delivering smiles” to courageous kids fighting cancer. An award ceremony will take place on the football field along with music, refreshments, snacks and more.   

Race Day Time Line:
7:00am - 8:30am: Check-In, in the Glen Cove HS gym.
8:15 AM: Children Fun Run Begins on Glen Cove HS Track
9:00 AM: 5k Run Begins
10:00:AM: Post Race Amenities/Award Ceremony

Amenities:
All pre-registrants will receive a free t-shirt and a free entry ticket into our new raffle (prizes will be announced closer to the event)! There will be plenty of post-race refreshments and snacks and entertainment. 

Proceeds:
Over the last 4 years, we have had over 4400 people attend our event and we have raised over $200,000. All money raised will go to the Nicholas Pedone Foundation.The Nicholas Pedone Foundation is a nonprofit 501c3 charity organization dedicated to children fighting pediatric cancer, to help raise awareness and ultimately finding a cure to childhood cancer.  We strive to contribute to the lives of children and families who are affected by childhood cancer
