Description
On Saturday, September 16th, 2017, Campbell University will be holding the 8th Annual Cardiac 5k in celebration of American Pharmacists Month. Runners will race around campus and participate in a health-fair sponsored by Campbell’s own pharmacy and health sciences students where they can learn information about personal medication records, heart healthy nutrition, the influenza vaccine, and more! All of the proceeds from the race will go towards the American Heart Association. 

Event details and schedule

7:45am: Check-in Begins

8:00am: Grab a pre-race snack and join us for our race warm up! Our Health Fair is also open!

8:30am: Cardiac 5K Begins

Plenty of parking is available next to the Irwin-Belk track behind the Convocation Center.  The course will begin on the track, runners will race around campus and will end back on the track. Water will be provided during the race. Water and snacks will also be provided as runners finish the race.
