The 7th Annual Gulf Beach Half Marathon

Run along the beautiful beaches of Milford featuring the Silver Sands State Park Boardwalk. This is a PR Course like no other. Join us for our 7th Annual. The race sells out and there is NO race day registration. There is race-day packet pick-up for pre-registered entrants. Register now and close out Summer with the best race in Connecticut!

• Aid Stations stocked with Poland Spring Water, Gatorade Perform and GU at Miles 2.5, 4.5, 6.5, 8.5 and 10.5.

• Custom Finisher Medals.

• TECH shirts.

• Exact timing using “transponder on the bib” at the start, half-way and finish.  Net time and gun time. Results emailed that day.

• Custom Awards for overall top 3 men and women as well as top 3 men and women in all 5-year age groups.  Get your award immediately with your Finisher Receipt.  If it says Top 3 just go to the award table.  No need to wait around!

• Post-race food by SUBWAY, bagels and bananas.

Day-Before Packet Pick-up 

On Friday, September 15, 2017 there will be an OPTIONAL early packet pick-up at Multisports Academy (new this year) 109 Sanford St. Hamden, CT. 06514 from 3:30pm-6:30pm. 

Race-Day Packet Pick-up 

Race Day packet pick-up will be at the race start/finish from 6:30am-7:30am: Gulf Beach Recreation Area 550 Gulf St. Milford, CT. 06460. Make sure you arrive with PLENTY of time to get your packet with your bib. The race will start at 8:00am promptly.

Parking

We have the permit to park in the Resident Only lots for the day.  There are 300 spots there at the venue.  There are hundreds more spots on side streets that are legal and within 1/4 of a mile.  Please do not park where it is prohibited!  You risk being ticketed and towed. The Inaugural Rail-Trail 10K

The Inaugural Rail Trail 10K Race is being held on Saturday, October 7th at 8am. Our 10K course is 100% on the Rail Trail with no cars and not street crossings. Flat and picturesque out-n-back running through Fall's natural beauty. The Start and Finish is the same as our Hamden Hills Half Marathon & Flat 5K which is the Sherman Avenue Rail Trail lot in Hamden across from the Quinnipiac University York Hill Campus. Chip timed for accuracy, Long Sleeve Cotton Race T-Shirts to all entrants. Gatorade and Poland Spring Water at Mile 2 and Mile 4. Fresh Bagels and Bananas at the finish! Our new Real-Time system allows for award winners to get their award immediately after they finish. Just grab your race receipt from the timing table and bring it to the award table. Top 3 Overall (M&F) and in 10 year age divisions win a custom race pilsner. Register with a Team and compete to win prizes!
