Jog for the Dogs 5k Fun Run and Walk...

• 5K Fun Run/Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

Come join us in celebrating our one year anniversary with our first annual 5k fun run and walk. The run will take place Saturday September 30^th at Akron Dog Park located at 499 Memorial Pkwy, Akron OH. The race will start at 10:00am with packet pick-up starting at 9:00am. All ages and breeds welcome! All dogs must be on a standard leash, 6’ max length. No retractable leashes will be allowed. Strollers are welcome; however the course is not the most stroller friendly. The course starts off on the Towpath and veers off to a trail leading to the Dog Park, if rainy the course could be muddy, dress accordingly. The event will be timed with awards for top runners. All participants will receive a short sleeve t-shirt. The human finishers will receive a finisher medal, while the K9 finishers will be receiving a tug toy. Parking is limited, car pooling is highly recommended.
