The Harmon Lake Trail Run is a autumn trail running weekend at Harmon Lake Recreation Area on Otter Creek just eight miles north of Mandan, North Dakota. We’ve created the event to offer runners throughout North Dakota and surrounding areas a fun and challenging destination event on trails. We look forward to seeing you all test your grit. Who are we? The Trail Running Weekend includes:
Saturday, September 30: 5k, 15k, Half & Full Marathon, Kids Race
Sunday, October 1: 5k, 8-mile, Kids Race
The 5k course is a different course on Sunday and the 8-mile course utilizes a trail route not used on Saturday. We’ve created this to offer several different route options!

Friday, September 29th
4-7pm: Check in/Packet Pickup at Harmon Lake (If you checked in and got your racer bag on Friday night, you do not need to check in Saturday morning.)
Saturday, September 30th (Harmon Lake Parking Lot)
7-9:15am: Check in/Packet Pickup (If you checked in and got your racer bag on Friday night, you do not need to check in Saturday morning.)
8:45am: Marathon & Marathon Relay start
9:15am: Half Marathon start
9:15am: 15k start
9:30am: 5k start
10:15am: 5k Awards
11:15am: 15k Awards
12pm: Half Marathon Awards
1:45pm: Marathon Awards
4:15pm: Course closes. Services will be provided for runners who are able to finish the marathon in 7.5 hours or less.
Sunday, October 1 (Harmon Lake Parking Lot)
7:45-9:15am: Check in/Packet Pickup (If you checked in and got your racer bag on Friday night at Epic Sports or on Saturday, you do not need to check in Sunday morning.)
9:45am: 8-Mile start
10:00am: 5k start
10:45am: 5k Awards
11:30am: 8-Mile Awards
1:00pm: Course closes. Services will be provided for runners who are able to finish by then.
