The Wing & A Prayer 5K Run/Walk

                                    5K - 8:00 a.m.  (rain or shine), Awards 9:15

                                    Kid’s Fun Run – 9:00 a.m. (~ ½ mile)

Start and Finish         St. Michael’s Church

Location:                    1125 St. Michael’s Road, Mt. Airy, MD 21771

Events:                       5K Run/Walk (Road race: out and back course; mild, rolling hills)

                                    Kids Fun Run ~1/2 mile, walkers welcome in both events

5K Awards:               Tech T-Shirts will be provided to all pre-registered 5K participants (by 9/20).                

                                    Trophies to Top 3 M/F Overall Finishers, 1^st Place Masters M/F, 11-14, 10 & under.

Age Group Medals to Top 2 in 5-Year Age Groups.

Lots of door prizes! Indoor facilities and plenty of parking.

Refreshments:           FREE refreshments provided at the finish line.

Water available on the course.

Proceeds:                    Support St. Michael’s Youth Group Work Camp & Habitat for Humanity

Registration Fee:       $25.00 per person postmarked by September 20, 2017.

Family rate – only available through mail or drop off at church:

first 2 participants $25 each, each participant after $20 each.

                                    $5/person for Kid’s Fun Run - Finisher’s medal, no T-Shirt in Fun Run.  

                                    Make checks payable to St. Michael’s Youth, mail to above address.

Packet pick-up & Late Registration: 6:00 – 8:30 pm Fri Sept 29^th and 6:45-7:30 am on Race Day.
