10th Annual GBIA 5k Run and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk...

• 1 Mile Walk:- Walk 1 Mile
• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

5k Course Details: Fast, flat, chip-timed, out and back course along the scenic B&A A Trail. 5k starts at the Glen Burnie carnival grounds and proceeds south, crosses 5th Ave and Aquahart Rd with turn around at Norfolk Rd.

1 Mile Fun Walk: Starts at the Glen Burnie Carnival Grounds and follows the same path as the 5k, however, it turns around at 5th Ave.

This year, we are joined by our Health Sponsor, University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.  BWMC will have numerous departments set up at our event to provide health information, health checks and a wealth of knowledge about our local hospital. 

Event details and schedule

Friday, 9/29/17 from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm at Glen Burnie Improvement Association, 19 Crain Highway South, Glen Burnie, MD   21061.  Please enter through the back door, back parking lot off of 1st Avenue.

Satruday, 9/30/17 - Race Day Schedule:

8am - Packet pickup and Race Day registration

9am - 5k Runners start

9:05 am - Walkers Start

Award and prize ceremony will follow the arrival of the last runner.

Refreshments including bagels, fruit and apples will be served from 8:30am until event has ended.

Parking available in the free county parking garage located on B&A Boulevard and Barbara Moeller Way.  Please do not park in the Bank of Glen Burnie parking lot and please be respectful of our neighbors.
