The Wild Wild Wilderness 7.45 Mile trail race is in its 37th year and for just the second time is on Saturday!.  Hosted by the Kennekuk Road Runners.  The 7.45 mile course is 95% trail, heads east out of the park before turning into the woods where the adventure really begins.  You will climb and descend steep hills, cross creaks and bridges, and if you are lucky, see deer and other wildlife.  This is a scenic and challening trail run.

Race is on Saturday, Sept. 23rd at 10:00 AM.

Packet Pickup and race day registration at the Meadow Shelter near the finish line. Camping is available at Kickapoo State Recreaton area.  See the park's website for more information.   

Post-race party will immediatly follow the race with Pepsi, Beer (must be over 21) great food from Lickskillet Catering, prizes and music.  Non-runners can purchase food tickets for $5. 

Awards and special prizes to top 3 males and females overall, first m/f masters, grandmasters, heavyweight, superheavyweight and amazon, plus top three m/f in 5-year age groups.

This is also the final Kenekuk Grand Slam event for 2017.  Special Awards to all Grand Slam runners will be awarded at the post-race party.
