The Mt. Vernon Fall Fest 5K Fun Run/Walk is part of our weekend long celebration.  The race, start and finish, is located near the Jefferson County Court House in downtown Mt. Vernon.  Several streets will be closed off to accommodate the food, beverage and entertainment activities.  We welcome all runners and walkers to participate and support the Jefferson County Special Olympics.  The Mt. Vernon Fall Fest 5K Fun Run/Walk is sponsored by Featherstun for State's Attorney.

Event details and schedule

Race packet pick up will be avilable at an identified tent at the Mt. Vernon Fall Festival downtown Mt. Vernon, September 29, 2017, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.  Race packet pickup and registration will also be available on race day, September 30, 2017, from 7:00am to 7:45am.

Registration for the Kid's Fun Run will also be available race morning from 7:00am until 8:45am.  

5K Run Start Time: 8:00 A.M

5K Walk Start Time: 8:01 A.M.

Kid's Fun Run Start Time: 9:15 A.M.

TOP TWO WALKERS WILL RECEIVE AWARDS (MALE AND FEMALE)
KIDS ½ MILE FUN RUN (AGES 9 & UNDER) - EACH FINISHER RECEIVES A FINISHERS AWARD
