 _ 2017 D-Y Wildcat 5K Run/Walk & Wild Kitten Fun Run:

Details: The 2nd Annual DY-Wildcat 5K Trail Run & Walk is a beautiful loop through Boxford’s Wildcat trail system off of Stiles Pond Road. The 5k course will start and finish at the Stiles Pond Danvers YMCA Camp in Boxford and will cut down Stiles Pond Road entering into and looping around Wildcat Trail.

Wild-Kitten Details: 1 Mile Course is an out and back on the fire road, starting at 10:45am.  Parents are welcome to accompany their children on the course, highly recommended for kids 10 and under.

Tail Wagger Cateogry: This year we are encouraing participants to run/walk with your 4 legged friends! We do ask that you keep your fury friends on a leash at all times.

Prices: 5K $25 (+$5 on August 23, +$10 on race day)
Kids (11-17) $10
Kids (under 10) FREE and the Wild Kitten 1 Mile FREE

Post Race Picnic: Entry includes complimentary lakeside lunch. Participants 21+ will have an opportunity for refreshing beer in the trailgating area!

Post Race Celebration: Entertainment, face painting, vendor sampling, arts n’ crafts, yard games, raffles and more.

Swag: All 5K participants will receive custom event swag and a complimentary goodie bag.

Cash Prizes – Top M/F – $50

AG Awards to the top M/F in each AG: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Proceeds to benefit the Danvers YMCA to support health and education community programs.

Not Permitted: No strollers will be allowed on the course due to course restrictions.

Weather: This event will take place rain or shine.
