5th Annual Cubcat Crawl...

Please make plans to join us for the 5th Annual Cubcat Crawl, to benefit Hendersonville Elementary School on Friday, August 4th!

The race is hosted by the Hendersonville Elementary PTO, with proceeds going to help achieve the financial goals we have set, as approved by Principal Kerry Stewart, for the 2017-18 school year. These goals include purchasing an additional set of 36 Chrome Books with charging station, Professional Development for our teachers, Teacher Allotments for each teacher to purchase basic supplies for their classrooms, breakfast and snacks for all students taking EOG tests, an end of the year celebration for our students, and more. 

This year, we anticipate over 500 runners, including hundreds of children from HES and surrounding schools, along with dozens of volunteers that will help ensure a successful race.  The course will be located throughout the beautiful neighborhood surrounding Hendersonville Elementary. 

We are looking forward to our most successful race yet, and would be thrilled to have you join in on all the fun!  Paper registration forms can be found in the front office of Hendersonville Elementary during normal school business hours.

Event details and schedule

Here is what you can expect at the event:

5:00-7:30pm  Delicious pizza from Iannucci's Pizzeria, popcorn, snacks, sno-cones and beverages will be sold.

5:30pm Day-of Event Registration and Check-in.  

6:15pm This year, we are organizing runners into categories: Adult and Youth "In It To Win It", Adult and Youth "Let's Just Have Fun", and Walkers.  At this time, we will begin lining everyone up according to categories. 

6:30pm Race Begins!  Runners will enjoy a beautiful run/jog/walk throughout the friendly neighborhood surrounding Hendersonville Elementary.  Runners can expect a paved surface, with moderate hills. 

A clock will be on display at the finish line, but times will not be recorded.  This is a non-sanctioned race, and is intended to be a fun, family event for all to enjoy while exercising.  Prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 Adult Male and Female winners, as well as the Top 3 Youth Male and Female Winners, and will be determined as they cross the Finsh Line.
