The 11th Annual Little Sisters of the Poor Nun Run 5K (it’s a walk too!) is being held Saturday, September 16, 2017. This 5K walk/race begins and ends on the grounds of Jeanne Jugan Residence in Newark, and the Little Sisters join us for the run and all the fun! This is one of our major fundraisers and we are seeking your support.

Last year, nearly 400 people came together to make our Nun Run a huge success! We know this year will be a bigger and we hope you will join us.

Date:   Saturday, September 16, 2017 - rain or shine

Race Time:   9:00am Start. Registration opens at 7:30am.

Entry Fee:   $25 Pre-registration until 8am Thurs. 9/15. $30 Day of event.
Family (3 or more) discount!

Benefits:   The needy Elderly at Jeanne Jugan Residence. Need to raise $40,000 for living condition improvements for the 80 residents.

Parking:   Field behind Residence and directly across street in Christiana HS lots.

Course:   Wheel measured. Out and back course, flat and fast.

      Refreshments & goodie bags for all participants!

      Beer served to those at least 21 years of age.
      ID required (and race bib required) to be served.

      Free entry in raffle drawing for great prizes.

      DJ playing upbeat music before and after awards presentation.

Awards:   Trophies to 1st place Male & Female runners in Open and Masters divisions and 1st place Male & Female walkers; plus medals to Top 2 runners in 5 year age groups, 13 under through 70+.
