Dart for the Heart...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

Zale Walk was born on April 18^th, 2016 without the left ventricle of his heart, a disease called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome(HLHS).  He had open heart surgery at a week old, but the surgery was not enough for him to survive.  He was transferred to Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago to await a heart transplant.  He received a donor heart on August 22^nd.  All of the proceeds will go to the Walk family for medical costs.

All participants will be given one free ice cream from The Original Burger King following the race. (Must be wearing race bib).
