_ 2017 Big Tesuque 12 Mile Trail Run/Walk: A twelve mile high-altitude trail run organized by the Santa Fe Striders each year since 1985. Beginning at the Aspen Vista Trailhead fourteen miles NE of Santa Fe, the run climbs from an initial altitude of 10,000ft to the radio towers on Tesuque Peak at 12,003ft, then back down.
Date and Time: Saturday October 1st, 2016. 9am start for all age groups and classifications
Directions: From Santa Fe, take Artist/Hyde Park Road east toward the ski basin. Aspen Vista Trailhead is approximately about 14 miles from Fort Marcy Park, 2 miles south of the ski area. Parking does get rather crowded past 830am. Breakfast burritos provided after the race!

Awards: Top 3 Male & Female finishers plus standard 10 year age groups including 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and yes, 80-89 (we're looking at you Otto, and Tony, and possibly Dale).
